1969 Mercedes Benz 280sl

This is an original California car with the books and records including the original metal trim tag attached to the factory manual bag that we gave a bare metal new paint job along with new chrome, weather stripping and a nice factory proper grain interior beautifully trimmed as new in black. This grey with black is the original color combination of the car along with a black soft top and we did the hardtop and wheel caps in black to match the interior. The car is a true survivor always well cared for that we started the restoration with having all original fenders, hood, doors and trunk lid. The floors and trunk bottom remain original and in excellent untouched condition other than a light coat of color after the car was painted. Just a real nice bodied car to start with the proper fender marks showing on the inner side of lights of the front fenders made for a great car to give a detailed cosmetic restoration. With some fresh servicing the car is now ready to go with front end and suspension overhauled along with general servicing of the engine and proper shifting linkage and throttle control adjustments made along with a new fuel pump the car runs and drives very nicely. Extensive attention to detail was given in the door jamb areas and everywhere you see as most everything was re-chromed except the dash which remains original and shows how well cared for the car was. With all the fresh restoration work this is a great looking well detailed car ready to drive and show with original tool kit included. Many dollars spent to bring the car to this level of quality if you are looking for a nice color combination quality pagoda you found it.
