1970 Corvette LT1

Documented original California car

The first year the LT1 motor option, a solid lifter 350 V8 generating 370 horse power and a 6,500 red line and the same motor used in the legendary Z28 Camaro for 1970 it is the last of the old school hot rods from Chevrolet. If you wanted air conditioning or an automatic you would need to order a less spirited hydraulic lifter motor option. The Protecto-plate shows this car was sold new at Guaranty Chevrolet right here in Santa Ana California to a resident of Balboa Island in Newport Beach California. The current pink slip (title) shows the car last registered back in the mid 1980’s in Apple Valley (high desert) California. It still retains its original number matching motor, with it’s A. I. R. pump and fourth gear timing advance module in place. The fiberglass body still sporting her original coat of paint, hood stripe, and LT1 decal very faded. The original seat covers have the foam breaking down and carpet with the usual wear spots. The front end of the car showing its 1970 California issued license plate flanked on both sides by the 1970 only grills (no lower screw holes).

All in all this is a pretty special car, it runs out very strong, shifts well, brakes are good, a real nice original car.
