1954 Porsche Speedster # 80076

Previously sold through a well known auction house as the Paul Newman car from Harper with auction papers and previous seller’s description making the claim.

The fastest appreciating speedster is the 1954 Pre A only the first one hundred cars are considered 1954 manufactured cars. Early 1500cc factory 2 piece case shows the numbers matching the certificate of authenticity. Most likely these will be the first cars to hit the half a million dollar mark.

This car was originally delivered in the factory speedster blue color with the cream Acella Bast vinyl interior, one of the first of this color combination and the scheme used for the 2011 anniversary edition speedster bookend.

Professionally restored and rarely used except for shows and minimal travel the car has documentation of the motor rebuild and hand written testimony of the restoration preformed in the early 90’s by the previous owner. The restoration remains fresh looking to this day with excellent paint quality and an over all appearance of a blemish free car inside and out with an excellent underside.

Quality body integrity and craftsmanship are evident with this cars continued ability to maintain a close standard to a present day restoration in overall appearance, fit and finish.
